Singapore Management University (SMU) offers its flagship module, “Entrepreneurship and Business Creation,” as a cornerstone of the Global Summer Programme (GSP) 2026. This is not a theoretical “business plan” course; it is an immersive, experiential laboratory designed to mimic the high-pressure environment of a real startup. Situated in the Bras Basah district—surrounded by Singapore’s top venture capital firms and innovation labs—the course utilizes the SMU-X pedagogy. Students work in interdisciplinary teams to solve real-world problems, often collaborating with mentors from the Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE). While the university provides elite academic instruction and one SMU credit (equivalent to 6–7.5 ECTS), Edulux Summer manages the high-end logistics and travel services required for your 4-week residency.
