About Course

VIA University College offers a transformative summer school experience: “United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and Co-Creation.” Hosted in the vibrant city of Aarhus, Denmark’s “City of Smiles,” this program moves far beyond the classroom. It is a hands-on, interdisciplinary laboratory where students, NGOs, private companies, and public institutions collide to solve real-world sustainability challenges. The course focuses on Co-Creation—the art of developing solutions with people rather than for them—with a heavy emphasis on social inclusion and environmental resilience. While the university provides the innovation labs, expert mentorship, and official ECTS credits, Edulux Summer manages the high-end logistics and travel services required for your Scandinavian stay.

What You’ll Learn (at VIA University College)

  • The 17 SDGs in Practice: Investigating the interconnected nature of the UN goals and how to prioritize them within local and global projects.

  • Co-Creation Methodologies: Mastering the tools for multi-stakeholder collaboration, ensuring that solutions are inclusive, equitable, and sustainable.

  • Problem-Based Learning (PBL): Working in cross-cultural teams to tackle “wicked problems” presented by actual Danish companies and social enterprises.
